Duplex / Jacketed Metallic Hose

Overview

A Flexmetallic jacketed hose is a type of flexible hose assembly that consists of an inner hose or core, made of convoluted stainless steel, surrounded by another hose referred to as the outer jacket or casing. The space between the inner hose and the outer hose jacket is often filled with a heat transfer medium, such as steam or hot oil, which circulates around the inner hose to provide heating or cooling as needed.

Applications
