High Pressure Industries
Robust metallic hose assemblies enable secure fluid transport in high-pressure ensuring safety and efficiency.
High Pressure Hoses
The Flexmetallic 7022 range of high pressure hoses are manufactured from a thicker walled corrugated stainless steel with 2 heavy braids and are specially engineered to withstand extreme pressure. They have an enhanced ability is resisting turbulence damage together with increased performance in vibration applications.
Hose diameters can range from ¼” to 6” internal diameter with pressure ratings between 300 bar working pressure and 30 bar working pressure.
These hoses are used in a variety of industrial environments, serving as conduits for a variety of fluids and gases including compressed air , nitrogen , oxygen, hydrogen , hydraulic oil , steam and many more . These hoses are designed with precision, incorporating robust materials and construction techniques to ensure reliability, durability and safety.
Our Stainless steel hoses have significant advantages over other hoses such as rubber. Resistance against extreme pressures and temperatures coupled with long lifespan make it the optimal choice.
Applications in industries include:
Oil and Gas
In the oil and gas industry our high pressure hoses play a critical role in upstream , midstream and downstream operations. From drilling to gas processing and transportation, the 7022 range of hoses facilitate the transfer of gases as well as oils essential for exploration, extraction and refining processes.
Manufacturing and Engineering
High pressure hoses are widely used in manufacturing facilities for powering pneumatic machinery, hydraulic systems and many more , they enable precise control and distribution of both gases and fluids , contributing to efficient production processes ensuring product quality, reliability and consistency .
Aerospace and Aviation
High pressure hoses are integral to aircraft maintenance, fuelling systems and ground support operations, these hoses deliver pressurised gases and fluids for various applications including engine testing and rocket launches .
Medical and Healthcare
High pressure gas hoses are indispensable in medical and healthcare settings, where they supply oxygen , nitrogen and other gases for life support systems, anaesthesia machines and medical devices. These hoses adhere to stringent quality standards and regulations to always ensure patient safety and care.
High pressure Dog-Leg
90 degree Dog leg assemblies are commonly used in industries such as paper making. These specialised hose assemblies are made in house at our Northampton manufacturing facility are used on the drying cans which rotate at high speeds. Generally a 90 dog leg will be installed to alleviate the stresses caused on rotary unions. In compressor installations a 30 bar rated dog leg is often fitted, they are installed to accommodate movement in two or more different planes simultaneously. In order to achieve this we join two high pressure metallic hoses with a 90 deg elbow to create the “dog-leg” . This type of assembly does not develop thrust loads eliminating the need for pipe guides. When installing a 90 deg dog leg you instantly reduce the stress in your pipework.
Standards
Flexmetallic industries adheres to the highest quality standards throughout the design , manufacturing and testing process , ensuring we meet or exceed industry standards for performance , safety and reliability.
Our consultation, design and manufacturing skills have established us as the trusted partner for companies operating in these high pressure hose environments . With our rich legacy spanning decades our hoses empower industries to operate with confidence , reliability and safety.
Flexmetallic industries stands at the forefront of innovation and excellence in the design and manufacturing off high pressure hose solutions., As industrial operations evolve the demand for high pressure hose solutions grows , the role of high pressure hoses will continue to be paramount in powering the industries of tomorrow .
